Do You Have the Required Licenses to Bid on Copart Brazil Vehicles?
Some vehicles offered by Copart Brazil may require a special license. These special licenses are required for those vehicles that are non-repairable, end of life or armored.
Salvage Vehicles
If the vehicles is categorized as salvage, only Copart Members who have been issued a license to buy salvage vehicles may bid on them. If you are a resident of Sao Paulo, make sure that you or the entity you are representing has the legal requirements to purchase salvage vehicles.

Armored Vehicles

Any and all regularization will be the responsibility of the Bidder, who must comply with the criteria of the current legislation in the force.

Ordinance 94 COLOG from 16 August 2019 states the Bidder/Buyer is aware that the transfer of ownership of the armored vehicle shall be preceded by an Authorization for Transfer issued by the Military Region to the Buyer of the armored vehicle pursuant to Art. 47 and following of Ordinance 94 COLOG.

The functionality to request and accept the authorization of transfer of armored vehicle is at the discretion of SICOVAB (Control System of Armored Motor Vehicles and Ballistic Shields) and the state or district judicial police agencies, through their own regulation.
